Sensing Transformer are the electrical devices that are used for the monitoring, control and protection of the devices connected to the system. These are provided with a single conductor winding on a toroid shaped core for the detection of the current signal in a wire which is passing the core of these electrical equipments. The offered series of devices has a rated voltage of 220 volts and frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. Sensing Transformer works in the same manner as that of a magnetic type transformer by transforming the load impedance in the ration of square of the turns and the volt-second product applied to the winding.
